After a truck passed in the adjacent lane, the SUV driver signaled and moved to the right. This unexpected maneuver forced the driver of the vehicle recording the dashcam footage to brake sharply to avoid a collision.

When driving on a highway, in addition to maintaining the posted speed limit, drivers should keep a safe following distance and only change lanes when it is safe. Sudden stops, as seen in the video, risk causing chain-reaction accidents, especially at high speeds.
