On 1/7, at an intersection in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a silver GMC Acadia approached from the right, intending to turn left. Despite the overcast sky, the roads were dry and visibility was clear. Simultaneously, a white Mazda CX-5 approached the intersection from the left.
As both vehicles entered the intersection, the GMC Acadia initiated its left turn, moving directly into the path of the Mazda. The resulting collision saw the GMC strike the driver's side door of the Mazda. The front driver's side of the GMC sustained significant damage, with a piece of the Mazda's door trim embedded in its bumper. The impact caused the Mazda to flip onto its side, coming to rest on the opposite curb.
Bystanders rushed to the overturned Mazda to assist the occupants. The female driver of the GMC exited her vehicle and remained at the scene. The condition of those involved in the accident remains unknown.
