Suzuki Fronx offers discounts up to 60 million VND

The new Suzuki Fronx receives cash discounts ranging from 26 million to 60 million VND, marking the highest reduction in the A+ segment CUV category this December.

This December, the Suzuki Fronx sees its most significant price reductions since its launch in October. The two lower-tier versions, the GL, originally priced at 520 million VND, and the GLX, at 599 million VND, are now discounted by 26 million VND and 60 million VND respectively. The top-tier GLX Plus, which was 649 million VND, has a 35 million VND reduction. Consequently, the actual prices for customers are 494 million VND for the GL, 539 million VND for the GLX, and 614 million VND for the GLX Plus.

According to dealerships, Suzuki is offering substantial discounts on the Fronx to stimulate demand as the year 2025 draws to a close. Many competitors are also offering promotions through cash incentives or registration fee waivers.

Prior to these reductions, the Suzuki Fronx was the most expensive model in its segment. With the new pricing, the Japanese model has become more competitive. The Fronx is imported from Indonesia, similar to the Toyota Raize, while other models in the segment are locally manufactured and assembled.

In the A-segment crossover market, other models are also offering incentives. The Kia Sonet, the best-selling internal combustion engine model in the segment, has discounts of 20 million to 30 million VND this December. The Hyundai Venue, the segment's lowest-priced model, is seeing modest reductions of 5 million to 10 million VND at dealerships.

The all-electric VinFast VF 5 is currently being promoted by the Vietnamese manufacturer with a 4% discount on the vehicle's value, equivalent to approximately 21 million VND in cash. Meanwhile, Toyota Raize dealerships are offering various accessories.

As of October, the VinFast VF 5 was the segment's most popular model, with sales exceeding 35,000 units. This sales volume surpassed the combined sales of the Sonet, Raize, and Venue. Suzuki Fronx sales figures for October were not yet recorded.

The combined sales of the three gasoline-powered models (Sonet, Raize, and Venue) reached 8,859 units during the first ten months of 2025, representing a 30% decrease compared to the same period last year. Vietnamese customer buying power has declined for the third consecutive year for the Raize and for the second consecutive year for the Sonet. Compared to their peak sales periods (Raize in 2022 and Sonet in 2023), sales for both models have now nearly halved. The Venue, launched in 12/2023 and performing best in 2024, has also experienced a similar trend.
