Several VinFast electric scooter dealerships in Ho Chi Minh City participated, creating a lively atmosphere with displays, consultations, and special offers. The scooter display booths attracted numerous customers interested in learning about and test-driving models like the Motio, Evo Lite Neo, Evo Neo, Feliz Neo, and Klara Neo.
In addition to the test-drive area, the used scooter appraisal area also saw a consistent flow of customers throughout both days. Dealership specialists were on hand to provide valuations and advise customers on trade-in options that best suited their needs.
Nguyen Dinh Tung, a representative of the Ha Thanh VinFast electric scooter dealership system, said this was his first time participating in the "Trade Gas for Electric" event. He described the event as bustling with a large turnout, with many arriving early to inquire and place deposits on new scooters. His dealership received dozens of new orders on the first morning alone.

Mai Trong Duy, a Ho Chi Minh City resident, brought his 2014 Sirius scooter to trade in for a blue Evo200 for his wife. He praised the quick and easy trade-in process. The paperwork was completed within an hour, and the deal included free delivery within a 30 km radius.
Duy noted the Evo200's suitability for female riders, its smooth operation, spacious storage, and a range of over 200 km, sufficient for his wife's daily commute. He added that a single weekly charge is enough to meet her needs. Duy also expressed his support for restricting gas-powered scooters in major cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, viewing it as a way to promote the use of clean energy vehicles and improve air quality.

Nguyen Hoang Long has a longer daily commute of 60-70 km between Ho Chi Minh City and Long An. He opted to trade his 2018 Lead scooter for a Vento Neo to reduce operating costs. He estimated that switching to electric would save him almost his entire monthly fuel expense of 750,000 VND.
Long believes VinFast products are highly competitive, especially after the third round of price reductions under the "Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" program, offering 15-20% discounts. He suggested the Motio, priced at 12 million VND, is suitable for young first-time electric scooter owners, while other models cater to diverse needs, from office workers and parents to ride-hailing drivers.

Like Long, many attendees took the opportunity to upgrade their scooters, taking advantage of the trade-in program and receiving additional discounts of up to one million VND and gifts from dealerships. Customers also benefit from free charging at V-Green public charging stations until the end of May 2026, further reducing long-term usage costs.
VinFast's "Trade Gas for Electric - Building a Green Future with VinFast" event series began in June. It has visited several provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Hung Yen, achieving positive results and offering thousands of customers the opportunity to embrace green transportation.
