Toyota launches 100% car value loan package offer

The Japanese automaker applies a 0 dong down payment policy to acquire a vehicle through Toyota Financial Services Vietnam, enabling users to own a car for the year-end season.

As the year's final month begins, numerous automakers are increasing incentives to boost sales and attract buyers before the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday. Toyota Vietnam, in particular, is offering a range of promotions for december, including 0 dong down payment plans, price reductions through registration fee support, and dealer gifts.

Regarding the 0 dong down payment policy, Toyota, in collaboration with its nationwide dealership network, is offering this package to specific customer groups. These include state officials, public servants, employees of Vietnam's top 500 largest enterprises/private companies, and employees of Toyota's partners. Under this scheme, buyers can receive loans covering up to 100% of the vehicle's value, with monthly installments and a preferential interest rate starting from 7,99% per year for the initial two years.

According to Toyota Financial Services Vietnam (TFSVN), the disbursement process is quick, with no hidden costs, allowing buyers to receive their vehicles promptly for year-end use. This offer is available at Toyota's 86 dealerships nationwide.

Commenting on the promotion, Tuan Anh (36, Hanoi) noted that typically, buyers need a 20-30% down payment for car loans, making Toyota's 100% loan policy a significant differentiator in the market. "Toyota's policy helps buyers reduce financial pressure immediately upon vehicle ownership, especially with the 7,99% annual interest rate for the first two years. However, buyers should carefully consider their financial situation, balancing income and monthly installment capacity to choose a suitable vehicle," he stated.

After considering the offer, Tuan Anh purchased a Toyota Vios, finding the sedan's price reasonable and suitable for his family's usage and travel needs.

For december, Toyota Vietnam is also maintaining incentives equivalent to 50-100% of the registration fee for several models. A 50% reduction applies to the Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross HEV, and Hilux pickup. The 100% registration fee exemption is for the Vios, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Camry. Additionally, the company is offering buyers one year of comprehensive insurance when purchasing the B-MPV and Yaris Cross duo. The highest incentive during this period is approximately 153 million Vietnamese dong, available to those buying the top version of the Camry HEV.

For customers looking to trade in their old vehicle for a new one, the Toyota Sure system (Toyota Certified Used Car Center) is also offering a range of incentives. Those who sell their used car (regardless of brand) to purchase a Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, or one of the three HEV models: Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, Camry, will receive an interest-free loan package for the first 6 months. Beyond the interest rate incentive, HEV buyers can also choose between a one-year Toyota Gold insurance package or three years (or 30,000 km) of free maintenance parts, along with free window tinting.

Sales experts believe that the loan interest rate starting from 1,49% per year for HEV models will provide Toyota with leverage to increase sales, especially given the growing preference among Vietnamese consumers for environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient vehicles. In november, 831 Toyota hybrid vehicles were sold, bringing cumulative sales to over 21,100 units.

From 12-14/12, Toyota's prominent HEV models will be showcased at the National Innovative Startup Festival, Techfest Vietnam 2025, held on Hoan Kiem Walking Street, Hanoi. At this event, visitors can explore the HEV lineup, participate in interactive games about hybrid electric technology, learn about multi-faceted approaches, and receive gifts.

The event is organized in an open space to provide the public direct access to these technologies, contributing to the popularization of green, environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
