Highlights of the Yaris Cross in Vietnam
The Yaris Cross debuted in the market in 9/2023, making a significant impact in the B-segment SUV category. This success is attributed to its distinctive design language, diverse amenities, advanced Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) technology, and efficient hybrid powertrain.
Both the petrol and hybrid versions of the Yaris Cross feature the 3rd-generation TSS suite. This includes a comprehensive set of safety features: pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, automatic high beam, pedal misapplication control, front departure alert, and adaptive cruise control. The HEV version offers additional premium features: a panoramic glass roof with a power sunshade, wireless charging, an electronic parking brake, automatic air conditioning, a hands-free power back door, and Pioneer speakers.

According to Toyota, the HEV version of this model boasts a fuel consumption rate of 3.56 – 3.93 liters per 100 km, making it over 50% more fuel-efficient than its internal combustion engine counterpart. Toyota Vietnam confirmed that all its vehicle lines produced after 1997 are compatible with E10 petrol. In 2023, the company collaborated with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company on a study. This research confirmed that E10 petrol is suitable for the company's petrol and hybrid vehicles, with no adverse effects on performance or safety.
Continuous promotional campaigns from Toyota have also contributed to the Yaris Cross's competitive edge. This month, the company is offering a 50% reduction in registration fees, up to a maximum of 37 million VND, along with loan interest support starting from 7.49% per year, fixed for the first six months, for Yaris Cross buyers.
