A traffic incident occurred in the crowded Kim Lien tunnel when two young men on a motorbike, speeding, collided with a vehicle in front. This caused them to swerve, lose balance, and fall onto the road. The motorbike slid from the middle of the road to the curb. Fortunately, both individuals were able to stand up after the fall.
Driving advice: When navigating tunnels, all vehicles should reduce speed and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Specifically, sudden braking on a motorbike can easily lead to wheel lock-up, skidding, the rear wheel swinging out, and a fall, particularly on slippery surfaces. Riders should engage both brakes. For bikes without an antilock braking system (ABS), it is crucial to actively pump the brakes to prevent skidding.
