VinFast announced this expansion on 31/1. The company plans to introduce battery-swapping electric motorbike models, including the VinFast Flazz, VinFast Evo, VinFast Feliz II, and VinFast Viper, with new models to follow. These products will be adapted to suit the usage conditions and commuting habits of each country.
According to Vo Thi Cam Tu, CEO of VinFast's international electric motorbike division, these five markets exhibit significant urban mobility demand, a high density of two-wheeler usage, and a growing trend towards eco-friendly transportation. Expanding the electric motorbike segment abroad is a crucial pillar of VinFast's long-term development strategy. The company has thoroughly researched each market, engaged with local partners, and developed plans for its dealer network, products, and services.
"Expanding our business in these countries creates a foundation for long-term growth in the global electric motorbike segment", Tu stated.

The Philippines will be VinFast's initial market for electric motorbike distribution, achieved through partnerships with five dealers across the nation's two largest islands, Luzon and Mindanao. These partners include: Maverick Racing Factory Inc., MotorCentral, New Nemar Development Corp., Supremebike Corporation, and ARC Trading. VinFast noted that these collaborators possess extensive experience in two-wheeler distribution and a commitment to green vehicle development.
Beyond product offerings, VinFast aims to establish a robust network of hundreds of sales points in key markets by 2027. This network will integrate dealer systems, service centers, financial solutions, and energy infrastructure. A crucial part of this strategy involves VinFast's partnership with V-Green to deploy charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, enhancing the overall user support ecosystem.

This international expansion strategy builds on VinFast's strong domestic performance. In 2025, VinFast sold 406,453 electric motorbikes, securing the leading market share in Vietnam. With a portfolio of over 10 models across various segments and flexible charging and battery-swapping solutions, VinFast electric motorbikes have become a popular choice for Vietnamese consumers.
VinFast has also finalized its plans for three electric motorbike lines: popular, premium, and sports, concurrently launching seven new models within the premium and sports categories. Leveraging large-scale production capabilities, a competitive pricing strategy, and a comprehensive support ecosystem—including V-Green's flexible battery-swapping solutions—the company aims to accelerate the transition to green transportation regionally and globally.
Over recent years, VinFast has systematically built a green mobility ecosystem in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and other markets. This has involved collaborations with local partners and strategic alliances, such as GSM for electric taxis and V-Green for charging infrastructure. In addition to electric motorbikes, VinFast has also introduced a range of electric oto, from the VF 3 to the VF 9, across various markets, offering consumers more choices in the shift towards green transportation.
