The 8-year warranty for VinFast's LFP batteries is among the longest offered in the current scooter market. LFP batteries offer several advantages, including a longer lifespan, stable performance, better heat resistance, and improved safety in the event of fire or explosion compared to conventional electric scooter batteries. Furthermore, LFP batteries do not contain rare earth metals like cobalt and nickel.
VinFast currently equips most of its electric scooter models with LFP batteries, including the Evo Grand, Evo 200 Lite, Feliz S, Klara S2, Klara Neo, Theon S, Vento S, and Vento Neo.
Hoang Ha, Deputy General Director of VinFast's electric scooter sales division, stated that the new warranty period is double that of many traditional gasoline-powered scooters currently available. "VinFast wants to provide electric scooter users with peace of mind, remove psychological barriers, and encourage the public to embrace green transportation," he said.
