On 5/8, Vietnamese automaker VinFast delivered its first batch of Limo Green vehicles to customers in Hanoi. The Limo Green is VinFast's first all-electric 7-seater MPV, targeted towards businesses and individual transport operators.
The Limo Green's exterior is basic and generally acceptable. As a service-oriented vehicle, a striking exterior isn't essential. Gasoline-powered models like the Xpander, XL7, and Toyota Veloz offer more visually distinctive designs. The Limo Green features LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights. It has 18-inch wheels, MacPherson front suspension, multi-link rear suspension, and disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. The tailgate is manually operated.
Unlike other VinFast electric vehicles, the Limo Green does not have a front trunk.
The interior is configured with three rows of seats for 7 occupants. The steering wheel is made of synthetic plastic, and the seats are upholstered in fabric. The second-row seats can slide and fold flat. The third row is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate adults around 1.7 m tall, with adequate legroom and headroom. Unlike most MPVs, the third row has adjustable air vents.
The interior design is minimalist, and the finish quality is decent compared to other VinFast models like the VF 7 and VF 6. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rotary gear selector, Wi-Fi connectivity, and power-adjustable rearview mirrors. The car has single-zone automatic climate control with vents for the second and third rows. The standard 4-speaker audio system is adequate.

VinFast has equipped the Limo Green with a front-mounted electric motor that delivers 201 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. During a two-lap test drive on a track fully loaded with 7 adults, the car's acceleration remained responsive and quicker than comparable gasoline-powered vehicles. The Limo Green has a light and responsive accelerator and good brake feedback. The steering is adequate for city driving, light at low speeds, and slightly firmer at higher speeds.
The absence of a traditional instrument panel requires the driver to glance to the right to view driving information on the central infotainment screen, which takes some getting used to.
The Limo Green's safety features are standard, including ABS/EBD/BA brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, roll-over mitigation, and a rearview camera. As a service-oriented vehicle, it doesn't offer the same range of advanced safety technologies as competitors targeting individual buyers.
The Limo Green measures 4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, and 1,728 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. These dimensions make VinFast's all-electric MPV slightly larger than popular models like the Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Veloz, and comparable to the GAC M6 Pro, Hyundai Custin, and BYD M6.
The Limo Green is available in a single version priced at 749 million VND. It is equipped with a 60.13 kWh LFP battery pack providing a range of 450 km. The battery supports 80 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10-70% charge in 30 minutes. A standard 7.2 kW AC charger is also included.
The charging cost for all-electric vehicles like the BYD M6 and VinFast Limo Green is significantly lower than gasoline costs. Furthermore, VinFast's offer of two years of free charging incentivizes transport service providers to choose electric vehicles.
