VinFast sells nearly 11,500 EVs in July

11,479 EVs sold in July helped VinFast reach nearly 80,000 cumulative sales since the beginning of the year, maintaining its position as the best-selling brand in the market.

With all sales being EVs, VinFast's figures clearly reflect the trend of switching to green vehicles in the Vietnamese market. VinFast sold 11,479 vehicles in July, bringing its year-to-date total to 79,048 EVs of all types, continuing to lead the Vietnamese market for 10 consecutive months.

The VF 5 ranked second in sales with 2,552 units sold, bringing the year-to-date total to 24,364. The Herio Green, an optimized version of the VF 5, also contributed 2,128 units sold during the month.

Within VinFast's EV lineup, the B-SUV VF 6 ranked fourth with 1,902 units delivered, totaling 10,454 units since the beginning of the year, leading this segment in Vietnam. The VF 7 had sales of 795 units in the month, accumulating 4,381 units year-to-date. The VF 8, VF 9, VF e34, and Nerio Green also achieved positive sales figures, with the VF 8 selling 319 units, totaling 1,945 year-to-date.

Duong Thi Thu Trang, VinFast's global deputy general director of sales, stated that achieving over 11,000 units in sales for the third consecutive month demonstrates the appeal of the company's EV models and reflects the strong trend towards green transportation and EV adoption in Vietnam.

Starting in August, VinFast began delivering the first batches of Limo Green in Vietnam and is collaborating with its dealer network to organize a series of "Trade in your gas car for an EV" events in various provinces and cities nationwide. These activities, along with diverse after-sales policies, are expected to boost market demand, especially amidst the trend of transitioning to fully electric vehicles.
