VinFast sells nearly 28,000 electric vehicles in march

VinFast continues to be Vietnam's best-selling car manufacturer, with sales increasing 127% compared to the same period last year, indicating a trend of users switching to pure electric vehicles.

Information from VinFast indicates that all of the company's electric vehicle models recorded significant sales growth in march. On 28/3 alone, the company announced it had completed 3,520 orders in one day for market delivery.

The Limo Green was VinFast's best-selling vehicle line this month, with sales of 6,795 units, a 276% increase compared to the previous month. It is also VinFast's most popular vehicle line currently. Among these, the VF MPV 7 version for families and individual customers achieved sales of 2,521 vehicles, an increase of 116% compared to the previous month.

The VF 7 rose to lead the C-SUV segment across the market, with the company delivering 1,732 units, a 115% increase compared to february. The VF 6 sold 3,152 units. The VF 5, in its family and service business versions, had total sales of 4,218 units. The VF 3 sold 4,729 units.

Two compact models for urban cargo and passenger services – the EV Van and Minio Green – recorded their highest sales since launch. Specifically, 1,136 EV Vans and 1,969 Minio Green units were delivered in march.

Year-to-date, the Limo Green is VinFast's most popular model in Vietnam, with a total of 12,471 vehicles delivered, averaging over 4,150 vehicles per month. Sales for other VinFast models include: VF 3 (10,188 vehicles), VF 5 (8,672 vehicles, including Herio Green), VF 6 (6,679 vehicles), Minio Green (3,809 vehicles), VF MPV 7 (3,686 vehicles), VF 7 (3,514 vehicles)...

In the first three months of 2026, VinFast announced it had delivered 53,684 electric vehicles of all types, leading the Vietnamese market. Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, global vice general director of automotive sales at VinFast, stated that amidst domestic fuel price adjustments, electric vehicle models increasingly demonstrate their value, operational advantages, and usage costs.

Beyond the Vietnamese market, VinFast also reported its best-ever business results in key markets such as India, Indonesia, and the Philippines in march. While specific sales figures were not disclosed, the company stated that VinFast is one of the two leading electric vehicle manufacturers in the Philippines, ranks among the top 3 in Indonesia, and top 4 in India, based on sales in march.
