VinFast VF 6 receives 'most value for money car of the year' award

VinFast VF 6 wins 'most value for money car of the year' award at Autocar India awards 2026, thanks to its balance of price, features, and performance.

The Autocar India Awards, an annual event hosted by leading automotive publication Autocar India, recognizes outstanding car models and brands in the market. The 2026 ceremony marked the 23rd edition of the awards.

The "most value for money car of the year" award acknowledges the VF 6's significant utility value within its segment. It also highlights VinFast's dedication to developing products that cater to Indian consumer preferences.

The jury commended the VinFast VF 6's practical product development strategy for the Indian market. Indian consumers increasingly prioritize long-term value, operating costs, and safety. Experts noted the model effectively meets these demands while upholding high design and technology standards.

An Autocar India representative noted the difficulty in balancing selling price and utility value in India, a feat the VF 6 accomplished. "Priced under two million rupees, with comprehensive features and high practicality, the VF 6 offers significant value for money", the representative said.

The B-segment electric SUV, VF 6, features a compact design ideal for urban traffic. Its interior optimizes space for driver and passengers, integrating smart technology and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for enhanced daily safety and convenience.

"This achievement motivates us to deliver modern, safe, and sustainable electrified mobility solutions to the Indian market", he said.

VinFast is currently accelerating the development of a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem in India. This includes integrating manufacturing, financial solutions, charging infrastructure, and after-sales services to ensure a seamless electric vehicle experience. Through its commitment to sustainable development, innovation, and products like the VF 6, the company aims to drive the transition to green mobility in one of the world's most dynamic automotive markets.
