VinFast Viper electric scooter starts from 39,9 million dong

VinFast opens pre-orders for two battery-swapping electric scooter models, the Viper and Feliz II, with starting prices of 39,9 million and 24,9 million dong respectively, beginning march 1.

Following the announcement of four new electric scooter models on 15/1, VinFast opened pre-orders for two battery-swapping electric scooter models, the Viper and Feliz II, starting in march. The VinFast Viper is priced at 39,9 million dong (without battery) and 45,5 million dong (with battery). The VinFast Feliz II costs 24,9 million dong and 30,5 million dong (with battery).

The deposit amount is one million dong, with deliveries expected in Quarter I.

VinFast positions the Viper in the premium electric scooter segment, featuring a masculine and sporty design. The scooter is equipped with a BLDC in-hub electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 3,000 W, a top speed of 70 km/h, and acceleration from 0-50 km/h in 15 seconds. According to the company, equipping it with two LFP batteries provides the Viper with a range of up to 156 km on a single full charge under standard conditions.

The scooter uses a smartkey instead of a traditional mechanical lock, integrating a vehicle-finding feature in parking lots. A color TFT screen displays various operating parameters. Other features include telescopic front suspension and hydraulic dual shock absorbers with auxiliary oil reservoirs at the rear. The Viper is available in 5 color options.

The Feliz II electric scooter features a design and color options similar to the previously launched Feliz, with the key difference being its battery-swapping capability. It is equipped with a BLDC in-hub electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 3,000 W and a top speed of 70 km/h. According to the company, under standard conditions, the Feliz II has a range of 156 km on a single full charge with two batteries. Other features include: full LED lighting, regenerative braking technology for energy recovery, two operating modes, and IP67 water resistance standard.

Both models come with a 6-year warranty for the scooter and an 8-year warranty for the battery, a leading warranty period in Vietnam's electric scooter market.

Currently, VinFast is offering a range of incentives for customers purchasing its electric scooters, including: the "Buy a scooter for 0 dong" installment support program; a 6% price reduction, 100% support for registration fees, and free battery charging at V-Green stations nationwide. For these battery-swapping electric scooter models, the company offers 20 free swaps per month, equivalent to a travel distance of 800 km per month for users.

V-Green announced that the company has completed installing thousands of battery-swapping stations nationwide, aiming to reach 45,000 cabinets in Quarter I this year.
