On a narrow stretch of Provincial Road 15 in Hoc Mon commune, a large truck occupied nearly the entire lane. Despite a gap of only dozens of centimeters, a motorbike attempted to squeeze through and overtake the truck. As the road narrowed further, the rider lost control. The handlebar lightly struck the side of the truck, causing the young man to fall heavily onto the road. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
When navigating narrow roads, motorbike riders should avoid riding close to the side of trucks, as these vehicles have numerous blind spots, particularly on both sides. If riding near a truck is unavoidable, drivers should reduce their speed, proactively yield, and always be prepared to avoid potential collisions. Motorbike riders should only attempt to overtake when the road is clear, visibility ahead is unobstructed, and the maneuver can be completed decisively. For truck drivers, it is crucial to carefully check mirrors, drive slowly through narrow sections, and avoid sudden steering adjustments to minimize risks for surrounding vehicles.
