Mobil Delvac is now a widely trusted lubricant brand in Vietnam's transport sector. From an initial few dozen dealers, PAN's distribution network covers key northern economic regions, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. This widespread presence and trust stem from a strategic decision made a decade ago.
In 2015, when PAN officially became the distributor for Mobil Delvac, the Vietnamese lubricant market was dominated by common brands. Specialized products for heavy-duty trucks and tractor-trailers were largely unfamiliar to most. PAN chose a distinct path, focusing on the premium diesel engine oil segment. The company targeted transport and logistics businesses, and heavy industrial operators – client groups with stringent demands for performance and machine durability.
"At that time, many drivers were accustomed to short-interval oil changes and using products out of habit. Mobil Delvac was a new concept upon entering the market, both in technology and usage value," a PAN representative recalled. "The company chose a slow but steady approach, using real-world effectiveness and customer operational experience as its benchmark."

This journey involved not just expanding scale, but also changing market perception. Transport businesses gradually shifted from viewing lubricants as a "consumable item" to an "operational optimization solution." Many companies now select Mobil Delvac for its ability to extend oil drain intervals, reduce fuel consumption, and increase engine life. These factors significantly lower operating costs, particularly amidst fluctuating fuel prices.
"In the transport industry, every hour a vehicle is in the workshop incurs costs. High-quality lubricants not only help engines operate smoothly but also enable businesses to maintain stable cash flow. That is why we have trusted Mobil Delvac for many years," shared a representative from a large logistics company in Hai Phong.
To build this trust, PAN's role extends beyond distribution. Together with ExxonMobil, the company has developed a comprehensive technical support ecosystem. A key offering is the Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis (MSLA) program, a service that analyzes used lubricant samples. This service allows businesses to "read" engine conditions from within, detect potential issues early, and plan proactive maintenance, rather than waiting for breakdowns.
Concurrently, PAN consistently organizes technical support activities such as the "Mobil Delvac Roadshow", "Durable Journey", and "360° Fleet Care". Hundreds of events were organized, spreading messages about performance, durability, and reliability to drivers and vehicle owners nationwide.

"Sustainable development does not come from large campaigns, but from each engine being better protected, each trip operating more efficiently. That is the core value we pursue," a company representative stated.
To mark its 10 years of operation in the Vietnamese market, PAN has launched the "Durable Companionship Journey" appreciation program. Customers with invoices for product purchases from 500,000 dong will receive a limited edition thermos. Additionally, the company is collaborating with media channels to organize online minigames, inviting the driving community to share memorable stories and trips with Mobil Delvac.
