A representative of Nhom Viet Dung Joint Stock Company stated that with urban development reaching new heights, fire safety standards have become a top priority in material selection. Therefore, the company has introduced Alcorest FR (Fire Retardant) – aluminum composite panels with a specialized fire-resistant core composed of PE plastic, magnesium hydroxide (or aluminum hydroxide), and fire-retardant additives, meeting the stringent fire safety requirements of modern buildings.

The product meets the B1 fire resistance standard according to DIN 4102-1 (Germany) and has been tested to meet various criteria in line with QCVN 06:2021/BXD – the national technical regulation on fire safety for houses and buildings issued by the Ministry of Construction.
With its non-toxic smoke emission, non-flammable spread, ease of installation, and colorfastness, Alcorest FR is considered a suitable choice for exterior facades and public interiors such as office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and administrative offices.

The product comes in a variety of colors and sizes, with common panel thicknesses of 4-5 mm and aluminum thicknesses starting at 0.3 mm. It is suitable for many projects and competitively priced compared to imported products, fitting both mid-range and high-end market segments.
Immediately after its launch, Alcorest FR panels were used in the VNPT Ha Nam headquarters project – an 11-story building with one basement level, totaling nearly 11,000 m2 of floor space, located in the center of Phu Ly City. The project used over 3,000 m2 of Alcorest FR panels for cladding and decoration of the facade, creating a modern and sustainable architectural appearance while ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards. This is considered a prime example of the practical application of Alcorest FR panels.
