Cadivi's lead-free household electrical wire achieves international certification

Cadivi's LF series of lead-free household electrical wires recently received TUV Rheinland certification for meeting european quality and safety standards.

The LF series of lead-free household electrical wires from Vietnam Electrical Cable Corporation (Cadivi) underwent a rigorous inspection process by TUV Rheinland, a German certification body established in 1872 and operating in over 60 countries. The product was comprehensively tested and evaluated against stringent european standards, covering technical specifications, materials, production conditions, and long-term quality consistency.

Notably, the certification extends beyond a single assessment, including an annual monitoring mechanism from TUV Rheinland. This ensures the product's stable and consistent quality over time. Maintaining this standard helps establish a more consistent quality benchmark for the market, providing consumers with a better basis to choose safe, reliable products. It also meets the requirements of various project types, from residential homes and urban areas to projects with foreign involvement.

In addition to achieving TUV Rheinland certification for its household electrical wire series, Cadivi develops green material solutions. These contribute to higher safety and sustainability standards for Vietnam's electrical cable industry. Accordingly, the LF series of household electrical wires uses lead-free materials, achieving Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification from the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). This reduces health risks for users and limits the emission of toxic gases in case of an incident. This initiative aims to meet global green building trends and Vietnam's construction industry goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 25% by 2030.

Sharing insights on the development strategy, Le Ba Tho, Chairman of Cadivi's Board of Directors, stated that the company aims to integrate international technical standards into product lines serving the domestic market.

"We are committed to striving so that domestic consumers can access electrical cable products meeting stringent international quality standards, similar to the products Cadivi supplies in many markets. Bringing international quality standards to serve the domestic market is also how we create practical value and strengthen trust with customers and partners," he affirmed.

Vietnam Electrical Cable Corporation (Cadivi) was established in 1975. It is one of the leading electrical wire and cable manufacturers in Vietnam by market share, according to a survey by the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association.

Cadivi products meet national standards (TCVN) and many international standards, and are applied in various sectors such as power, industry, civil engineering, national defense, and public infrastructure. The company currently owns factories and a widespread distribution system across the country.
