VnExpress Marathon Hue 2026 drew 8,000 runners, marking the event's sixth occurrence in the ancient capital. Carlsberg Vietnam served as a main sponsor, while also hosting internal activities to foster team cohesion.

Hue is a strategic location for Carlsberg Vietnam, housing the Phu Bai brewery and integral to the Huda brand's growth. Continuing its partnership with VnExpress Marathon Hue aligns with the company's strategy to engage local communities, foster a love for sports, and enhance brand recognition across the Central region.

Nearly 200 Carlsberg Vietnam employees, including General Director Andrew Khan and other leaders, participated in various distances, navigating the heritage routes. Encouraging staff involvement in sports is a component of the company's human resource development strategy and its commitment to building a sustainable work environment.

Andrew Khan, General Director of Carlsberg Vietnam, stated that growth stems not just from strategy or figures, but from a cohesive team dedicated to pursuing shared goals. "When leaders run alongside employees, it reinforces our corporate culture," Andrew said.

Beyond event sponsorship, Carlsberg Vietnam also implements internal programs focused on employee health and welfare.

VnExpress Marathon stands as Vietnam's largest running series, held in prominent tourist destinations like TP HCM, Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, and Ha Long. The Hue event debuted in 2020, with a hiatus in 2021 due to the pandemic.

This year, VnExpress Marathon Hue serves as the inaugural event for the city's Summer Festival. Beyond the 8,000 athletes, the race drew thousands of family members and supporters to the ancient capital.
