The AI bill of lading (BOL) extraction module automatically populates bill of lading information into Carrier Logistics' FACTS transportation management system. This reduces manual data entry and saves time. According to the technology provider, this faster and more accurate bill of lading creation process enables LTL operators to lower costs and enhance their competitive advantage.
"This technology directly addresses one of the industry's most persistent challenges: recording critical shipping data quickly and accurately," said Ben Wiesen, President of Carrier Logistics. "With this AI module, we are delivering a practical solution that creates measurable value. Real-time data extraction helps carriers act faster and with greater confidence."
Carrier Logistics' FACTS system is specifically designed for LTL carriers that operate their own assets and provide last-mile delivery services. The system features a comprehensive suite of tools, including optimization capabilities, dispatch and routing engines, and cross-dock management.
