According to AD Ports Group, the expansion project is valued at USD 115 million. It will be funded based on the current ownership structure, with CMA CGM holding 70% and AD Ports Group 30%. Since commencing operations in 12/2024, the CMA Terminals Khalifa Port facility has experienced significant demand and positive operational performance.
Expected to be completed in early 2028, the project will increase the terminal's capacity by 50%, from 1,8 million TEU to 2,7 million TEU annually. This expansion will boost Khalifa Port's total container handling capacity by approximately 9%, reaching 10,5 million TEU per year.
