Co-Well Tech Academy trains project-based software testing specialists

Co-Well Asia launches Co-Well Tech Academy to train practical-oriented software testing specialists (testers), addressing the demand for high-quality personnel.

The Co-Well Tech Academy opened on 10/12 at the 3D Center building, 3 Duy Tan street, Cau Giay ward, Hanoi. This new center aims to provide a workforce of testing professionals ready to join projects immediately after training.

During the opening ceremony, Oshima Azuma, General Director of Co-Well Asia, highlighted the growing demand for testing personnel. However, he noted a shortage of candidates equipped to work directly in project environments. Oshima stated that Co-Well Tech Academy would develop a curriculum closely aligned with business needs, thereby bridging the gap between education and practical job requirements.

Co-Well Tech Academy focuses on software and security testing, targeting information technology students and professionals seeking to expand their expertise. Its training model uses real business projects as a teaching foundation, allowing students to engage with actual work processes and requirements during their studies.

Co-Well Asia, a software development company with over 12 years of experience, has delivered hundreds of projects for Japanese and international clients. This extensive experience is integrated into the academy's curriculum through real-world scenarios and problems, ensuring students grasp job specifics and are project-ready upon course completion.

Co-Well Asia is also one of 9 companies globally to achieve ISTQB Global Partner certification. This ensures the training program adheres to professional standards and international best practices. The center's instructors are team leaders and project managers actively working at Co-Well Asia. The academy also partners with GSX Company (Japan) to deliver international-standard security testing training programs, addressing the market's evolving professional demands.

A Co-Well Tech Academy representative stated that the center emphasizes practical training and incorporates emerging technology trends, including automated and security testing. The objective is to enable graduates to join real-world projects immediately, eliminating the need for further foundational training.

According to a center representative, testing professionals are highly sought after by technology companies for their crucial role in ensuring the quality of digital systems. Notably, automated testing engineers command higher average incomes than manual testers, underscoring the demand for specialized skills. As cyberattacks grow in frequency and sophistication, security testing is recognized as a vital defense for technology products.

The launch of Co-Well Tech Academy addresses market needs and helps bridge the skill gap in software testing. The center is positioned as a key training institution, supporting human resource development for Vietnam's growing technology sector.

To mark its opening, Co-Well Tech Academy is offering a 10% tuition discount for currently enrolling courses: Software Testing Bootcamp, ISTQB Foundation Training, and Automation Test with Playwright.
