Coca-Cola Vietnam's new plant, located in the Phu An Thanh Industrial Park, Ben Luc (Tay Ninh), spans 19 hectares and boasts five bottling lines with a total capacity of one billion liters of beverages per year. The facility recently commenced operations.
This is the first food and beverage plant in Vietnam to achieve LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. It features a 6MW rooftop solar power system providing clean and stable electricity, and a 10-ton biomass boiler that significantly reduces reliance on traditional diesel.

To conserve energy, the plant incorporates energy-efficient lighting, an optimized cooling system, and new heat dissipation technology. Smart technologies such as digital twin warehouse simulation, a real-time manufacturing information system (MIS), and AI-powered safety monitoring (Intenseye) optimize operational efficiency.
The plant also implements a "Wall-to-Wall" seamless supply chain model in partnership with Baosteel for can supply, optimizing logistics and saving energy during transportation.
Milly Cheng, General Director of Coca-Cola Vietnam, stated that the new plant represents the intersection of innovation and sustainable development, demonstrating the company's confidence in Vietnam's growth potential and its commitment to long-term investment.
Following a merger in 1/2023, Coca-Cola Vietnam became a member of Swire Coca-Cola Limited, wholly owned by Swire Pacific Limited. The company now operates three plants in Vietnam, located in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Tay Ninh, with approximately 4,000 direct employees. The Tay Ninh plant is the largest of the three.
Speaking at the plant's inauguration on July 11, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Tam urged Coca-Cola Vietnam to continue complying with its financial, tax, social insurance, labor management, and environmental protection obligations.
"The company needs to continue pioneering the application of science and technology, innovation, promoting green and digital transformation, using renewable energy, and environmentally friendly materials, towards the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050," Tam said.
Prior to Coca-Cola, several other foreign companies have also built new green-standard plants. In early April, Lego inaugurated a USD 1.3 billion LEED Platinum-certified factory in the VSIP III Industrial Park. Nearby, jewelry company Pandora is constructing a USD 150 million LEED Gold-standard factory, expected to operate entirely on renewable energy.
Avison Young Vietnam's recently released Q2 real estate market report noted that green and high-tech factors have become more prominent in the industrial real estate segment. According to Vu Minh Chi, Senior Manager of Industrial Services at Avison Young Vietnam, many policies and regulations related to industrial real estate are being continuously updated, encouraging businesses to adopt green and modern technologies.
