The project will more than triple the facility's storage capacity, adding numerous pallet positions to better serve customers and consumers in the region. Specifically, the company will construct approximately 6,039 square meters of new freezer storage, expanding the existing facility of nearly 5,946 square meters to a total area of approximately 11,985 square meters. Upon completion, the number of freezer pallet positions will increase by 13,500, raising the total capacity to 18,000 pallets.
The renovation project also includes installing a more efficient refrigeration system, expanding the loading dock area from 14 to 17 doors, and adding a new fire suppression system. Additionally, approximately 279 square meters of ambient temperature storage will be converted into freezer space. This expanded facility is expected to serve over 15 million consumers in nearby urban areas, while also meeting the needs of larger tenants and creating new jobs.
