Initially, electric motorcycles in Vietnam were associated with gentle rides and low power, primarily used by students or the elderly. In recent years, the Dat Bike brand has introduced more powerful electric motorcycle models, increasing their range, with the company hoping to "rewrite" this definition.

According to the company, the Quantum S1 and Quantum S2 models, with motor powers of 7,000 W and 6,000 W respectively, can travel up to 285 km on a single full charge and reach speeds of 90-100 km/h. The Quantum S3 model, with a 6,000 W motor, offers a range of 200 km on a full charge and a speed of 90 km/h.
On vehicle forums, users are increasingly interested in electric motorcycle experiences like riding feel and motor power, rather than just battery durability. Khoa, 36, from TP HCM, who has owned a Dat Bike Quantum S for over one year and traveled over 50,000 km, stated that he was initially skeptical about electric vehicle performance, but his real-world experience changed his perspective. "I prefer models with quick acceleration and power, so I was quite surprised that Dat Bike's speed is comparable to gasoline-powered motorcycles," Khoa said.

"The power of Dat Bike's electric motorcycle range comes from its motor, which can reach up to 7,000 W, allowing the vehicle to achieve maximum torque from the initial rotations, providing rapid yet stable acceleration," a Dat Bike representative said. "The battery technology and battery management system (BMS) are also designed to ensure a high discharge current, enabling the motorcycle to accelerate from 0-50 km/h in just 3 seconds."
According to Khoa, during continuous high-speed operation, the motorcycle has a load reduction mechanism to cool down and protect the motor, after which it resumes normal operation. A Dat Bike representative explained that the motor's power reduction is due to a management algorithm installed by the company, which optimizes performance and protects critical components like the motor and battery.
For ride-hailing drivers, the Dat Bike Quantum can carry heavy loads, climb hills, and achieve a daily range of 200-250 km. Driver Tran Van Moi from Binh Duong stated that he is satisfied with the Quantum's technology, which includes features like reverse assist and hill start assist. Driver Thanh Vu from Dong Nai reported that the motorcycle operates stably under heavy loads, sometimes carrying up to 200 kg without a reduction in power.

According to company records based on user feedback, Van Moi once traveled a maximum of 278 km, driver Thanh Vu reached 270 km, and Khoa achieved a range of 305 km on a single full charge, exceeding the figures announced by the company.
