TPBank recently announced a list of two candidates for election as additional members of its board of directors at the annual general shareholder meeting scheduled for late April.
Do Quynh Anh is one of the candidates, holding over 85 million TPBank shares, representing 3,07% of the bank's capital. She is the daughter of Do Anh Tu, former vice chairman of TPBank's board of directors, who resigned from the bank in 3/2025 and was later prosecuted in a case related to Bamboo Capital.
Introduced by TPBank, Do Quynh Anh brings over six years of experience in accounting and auditing, including nearly four years with PwC Vietnam's audit and risk management consulting services department. She holds a bachelor's degree from Vassar College in the US and is currently completing a master's degree abroad.
TPBank also proposed to shareholders the election of Nguyen Thi Huong Trang, chief accountant of Diana Unicharm Joint Stock Company, to the bank's board of directors. Trang, 48 years old, has eight years of experience at Diana Unicharm, a company specializing in personal care and hygiene products that was previously chaired by Do Anh Tu.
If both candidates are elected, TPBank's board of directors for the 2023-2028 term will comprise six members, with Do Minh Phu serving as chairman.
For this year, TPBank aims for a 12% increase in consolidated pre-tax profit, reaching 10,300 billion VND. The bank projects 15% loan growth to 360,000 billion VND and a 19% increase in total assets to 600,000 billion VND.
TPBank will also propose to shareholders a plan to establish a subsidiary bank at the Vietnam International Financial Center (VIFC), with a minimum charter capital of 3,000 billion VND. According to the leadership, a subsidiary based at VIFC will have competitive advantages and benefit from specific mechanisms and policies compared to traditional models. In its initial phase, the subsidiary's focus will be on: international payments, connecting banks, fintech, and capital markets, and arranging international capital.
