FLC Group announced the appointment of Trinh Van Nam, 35, as its new general director on the afternoon of 5/2. The decision is part of a broader executive reorganization aimed at streamlining operations and focusing on key sectors. His predecessor, Bui Hai Huyen, will transition to permanent deputy general director.
Born in 1991, Mr. Nam was a member of FLC's board of directors prior to this new assignment. In his new capacity, he will oversee the group's general operations, focusing on overall management, coordination, and accelerating the progress of key projects. FLC highlighted Mr. Nam's "extensive experience in management and finance," noting his previous important roles within the group's ecosystem, including general director of FLC Biscom Yacht - Golf Investment Company Limited and key positions at FLC Land and FLC Ha Long.

Bui Hai Huyen, who previously served as general director, will now hold the position of permanent deputy general director. According to FLC, she will maintain a core role within the executive team, responsible for significant tasks as assigned by the board of directors. FLC's leadership stated that these appointments and reassignments are part of a strategic roadmap to reorganize the executive apparatus, emphasizing specialization and sector-focused operations.
These leadership changes follow another recent appointment a week ago, when FLC named Pham Manh Thang as deputy general director. Mr. Thang previously served as deputy general director of Vietcombank and chairman of the board of directors for Prosperity and Development Bank (PGBank). The group described this move as a strategic personnel decision aimed at enhancing management and operational capabilities as FLC accelerates its restructuring efforts and implements multiple projects simultaneously.
The executive changes at FLC come amid significant shifts in its top leadership, following the return of former chairman of the board of directors, Trinh Van Quyet, to the business world after nearly four years. Mr. Quyet was arrested in March 2022. By June 2025, his sentence was reduced to seven years in prison for property fraud.
FLC has designated real estate as its core business segment. Additionally, the company is actively working to restore and expand the operations of Bamboo Airways, following its takeover of management rights at the end of September 2025.
