In Vietnam, the company has collaborated with ministries, sectors, and state-owned renewable energy corporations across electricity, transportation, maritime, and petrochemical refining. Moving forward, Dung stated the company aims to invest 500 million USD in potential projects.
Specifically in Ho Chi Minh City, HDF Energy has proposed several initiatives: developing a green hydrogen-powered waterway bus route on the Saigon River, collaborating on a green port project in Can Gio, providing green energy to the Con Dao Special Zone, and researching and developing an intra-city railway line utilizing hydrogen.
Vice Chairman Bui Xuan Cuong expressed support for HDF Energy's exploration of investment in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on green transformation across transportation, industry, and the environment. The city committed to creating favorable conditions and cooperating with HDF Energy to implement these projects.
Headquartered in France, HDF Energy maintains offices in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Its team comprises approximately 150 hydrogen experts from over 35 countries. The group was listed on Euronext Paris in 2021.
HDF Energy is developing a project portfolio valued at over 3 billion euro. The company focuses on large-scale hydrogen infrastructure development and hydrogen fuel cell technology, driving efforts to reduce emissions in the energy, maritime transport, and railway sectors.
