The price of RON 95-III gasoline, the most common type in the market, decreased by 220 dong to 19,700 dong per liter. E5 RON 92 also dropped by 210 dong, reaching 19,270 dong per liter.
Conversely, prices for other fuels (excluding mazut) rose between 200 and 330 dong per liter. Compared to a week ago, diesel prices increased by 330 dong to 19,120 dong per liter, while kerosene is now priced at 18,620 dong per liter. Mazut, however, saw a decrease, settling at 15,370 dong.

The current value-added tax (VAT) rate on fuel is 8%, which will remain in effect until the end of next year, according to a National Assembly resolution.
This year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigned a minimum total supply of over 29.5 million cubic meters/tons of various fuels to key traders. In the first half of the year, businesses prepared approximately 13.86 million cubic meters/tons for the domestic market, equivalent to 47% of the plan. However, actual consumption was 12.6 million cubic meters/tons, resulting in an inventory of around 1.7-1.8 million cubic meters/tons.
