Hanwha Life secures top 'reputable life insurer' spot for a decade

Hanwha Life Vietnam has been recognized by Vietnam Report as one of the top 10 reputable life insurance companies in 2026, marking its 10th consecutive year on the list, a testament to its solid financial foundation and strong market position.

The awards ceremony took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi on 6/8. A company representative noted that over the past 10 years, Vietnam's life insurance market has undergone significant changes. Following a period of rapid growth, the market entered a restructuring phase, demanding greater transparency, improved advisory quality, and sustainable development. Concurrently, customer expectations evolved: insurers now need not only financial capacity but also sufficient credibility to accompany and fulfill commitments throughout the contract's lifecycle.

Hanwha Life Vietnam further stated that in this context, reputation is no longer built on temporary results but is validated over time, through adaptability to market changes and customer trust. Therefore, Hanwha Life Vietnam's recognition by Vietnam Report in the "Top 10 reputable life insurance companies" for a decade is not just a milestone; it also demonstrates the company's stable development and adaptability amidst market shifts.

According to the company, in the life insurance industry, financial capacity reflects not only a company's health but also its foundation for fulfilling long-term commitments to customers. Since 2023, Hanwha Life Vietnam's total assets have consistently grown, reaching nearly VND 24 trillion by the end of June. This marks an increase of over 30% compared to the end of 2023 and a 10% rise from the same period in 2025. This trend highlights the company's commitment to a sustainable development strategy and its ability to accumulate financial resources amid fluctuating market conditions.

In addition to asset growth, other financial indicators also recorded positive results. For the first six months of 2026, revenue from financial activities exceeded VND 825 billion, and pre-tax profit reached nearly VND 550 billion, increasing by 26% and 67% respectively compared to the previous year. Hanwha Life Vietnam's strong financial capacity continues, evidenced by a high solvency margin of 461% relative to current regulations. These figures demonstrate the company's operational efficiency, financial management capabilities, and ability to meet long-term commitments to customers.

For sustainable development, Hanwha Life Vietnam consistently invests in core values. Efforts range from developing a professional consulting team and refining its product portfolio to accelerating digital transformation. All initiatives aim to enhance service quality and support customers throughout their insurance journey.

From its early days, the company identified its financial consulting team as a vital link to customers. Through a comprehensive training system, clear career development paths, and recognition mechanisms tied to advisory quality, Hanwha Life Vietnam has built a team of over 41,300 professional financial consultants. The company consistently maintains its partnership with customers, even amidst market fluctuations.

Technology is also a key lever for enhancing advisory quality. Following this direction, the company launched the H-Planner application, which integrates artificial intelligence (AI). This tool assists consultants in analyzing needs, simulating protection scenarios, and planning finances for each stage of a customer's life. As a result, each consultation becomes more intuitive and personalized, helping customers easily choose solutions that align with their financial goals.

Hanwha Life Vietnam also accelerates digital transformation to create a seamless customer experience, from policy application, issuance, and management to premium payments and claims processing. By synchronously applying technologies such as AI, eKYC, electronic signatures, biometrics, and optical character recognition (OCR), many processes are automated. This allows for policy issuance in just 30 minutes for eligible applications and expedites online claims processing to approximately 2.5 working days.

Concurrently, the company continuously refines its product ecosystem, meeting customer needs for protection, healthcare, savings, and investment at every life stage. This activity also reflects the unwavering customer-centric strategy that the company pursues.

Beyond business operations, Hanwha Life Vietnam actively creates sustainable value for the community. Over many years, the company has contributed over VND 46 billion to social activities, focusing on three key areas: promoting education, protecting children, and community healthcare. Programs such as "Cai om am ap" (Warm Hug), "Future Plus", and "Dong hanh bao ve, trao tron an tam" (Accompanying Protection, Delivering Complete Peace of Mind) have left positive marks, spreading a spirit of sharing and motivating people nationwide.

Moving forward, Hanwha Life Vietnam will continue to enhance its governance capabilities, accelerate technology application and digital transformation, and develop insurance solutions that meet diverse customer needs. Through these efforts, the company aims to realize its vision of becoming "the most trusted life insurance company" in Vietnam, while spreading its mission of "Dong hanh bao ve, trao tron an tam" (Accompanying Protection, Delivering Complete Peace of Mind) through sustainable values for customers.
