Hanwha Life Vietnam launches new insurance products

Hanwha Life Vietnam introduces new products, including the "Accompanying Steady Steps" universal life insurance, "100 Critical Illnesses Insurance," and "Accident Risk Protection."

The highlight of this launch is "Accompanying Steady Steps," a universal life insurance product focused on three values: comprehensive protection, long-term support, and sustainable accumulation. The product not only protects the policyholder but can also extend coverage to family members, providing peace of mind for the entire family. Notably, increased benefits of up to 130% of the sum assured offer clients a robust financial solution.

A Hanwha Life representative stated that with coverage up to age 99, the product is an ideal lifelong plan for customers seeking a sustainable, long-term financial solution. Policyholders also receive contract maintenance and special bonuses to help their assets grow over time.

The company also introduced two other solutions: "100 Critical Illnesses Insurance" and "Accident Risk Protection," which can be added to the "Accompanying Steady Steps" policy.

"100 Critical Illnesses Insurance" offers protection against 100 critical illnesses at both early and late stages, with total benefits up to 200% of the sum assured. The product covers two different early-stage critical illnesses, increasing the chances of treatment and recovery. It also continues to pay up to 100% of the sum assured for one late-stage critical illness. Additionally, policyholders receive 2% of the sum assured (up to 10 million VND) upon diagnosis as a gesture of support from the company.

"Accident Risk Protection" offers comprehensive coverage against accidental injuries. It allows flexible benefit selection for accident-related medical expenses and pays up to 300% of the sum assured in case of accidental death. Furthermore, with the option to extend coverage to family members, the product adds 100% of the sum assured if both spouses die in the same accident.

According to a company representative, this financial solution suite combines in-depth research in Vietnam with experience from the established South Korean insurance market. The products maintain existing core values while offering significantly upgraded benefits and flexibility, enabling customers to proactively manage life's risks. This solution helps protect the health and finances of individuals and families comprehensively over the long term.

"This launch is even more meaningful as it coincides with Hanwha Life's 17th anniversary in Vietnam," the representative said. The company's leadership added that these products mark a strategic milestone in their development journey in the Vietnamese market. The company aims to provide comprehensive protection solutions for customers and their families, demonstrating their commitment to long-term support and enhanced protection for the Vietnamese people.

Hanwha Life's 17 years in Vietnam have given them a deep understanding of customers' health and financial protection needs. Throughout this journey, the company has continuously innovated, tailoring products to suit the actual needs of each life stage.

The need for both health and financial protection has become even more urgent with rising medical costs. According to the Aon 2022-2024 report, medical costs in Vietnam are rising 1.6 times faster than inflation, and serious illnesses like cancer are becoming increasingly common. Data from Globocan published in 2024 shows a rising trend in cancer incidence and mortality, while the risk of accidents remains ever-present.

For its contributions to customers and the community, Hanwha Life Vietnam has received numerous awards, including: Top 10 reputable life insurance companies for 9 consecutive years (2017-2025), and Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam for 5 consecutive years (2020-2024), published by Vietnam Report.

According to a company representative, Hanwha Life Vietnam remains committed to a customer-centric approach. Their goal is to provide practical and humane insurance solutions, realizing their vision of becoming the "Most Trusted Life Insurance Company" in Vietnam.
