Joseph Joseph expands logistics partnership with XPO

Homeware manufacturer Joseph Joseph expands its logistics partnership with XPO Logistics to enhance the management of its international transportation and distribution network.

Under the expanded agreement, XPO Logistics will add international freight forwarding services and manage shipments from China to Joseph Joseph's distribution center in Rugby, United Kingdom.

The two companies began their collaboration in august 2025 to expand logistics capabilities, serving distribution channels such as retail, e-commerce, and direct delivery.

Integrating international transportation into the existing system helps the company consolidate processes from inbound goods, transport, to distribution under one point of contact, thereby simplifying operations, increasing oversight, and improving supply chain efficiency.

A notable feature is XPO Logistics' supply chain technology platform, which enables real-time tracking of the entire cargo journey, from origin to final delivery. The system provides information on orders, waybills, container status, and key milestones such as customs clearance and arrival times.

Additionally, XPO Logistics applies artificial intelligence-based automation in its forwarding operations to support faster document processing and customs clearance. The system can check data, detect discrepancies, and prepare documentation before goods arrive, helping reduce waiting times at borders and mitigate compliance risks.

Christophe Verot, senior vice president of freight forwarding for Europe at XPO Logistics, stated that the company's digital platform not only provides tracking capabilities but also helps customers control the entire logistics process and ensure operational and compliance requirements.

Sacha Vaughan, supply chain director at Joseph Joseph, noted that the company has made significant positive progress after six months of collaboration, and expanding into international transportation is a logical step to support growth.

Integrating global transportation into the current system is expected to help Joseph Joseph enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure stable supply as the company continues to expand its product portfolio and markets.
