In mid-November, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced the results of its quality assessment for 156 dental clinics in the area. The Kim Dental system secured all 12 top positions, scoring between 3,51 and 4,07 points out of 5. This achievement marks the unit's 10th consecutive time leading these assessments.
According to a company representative, "The ranking results from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health serve as a transparent benchmark, reflecting Kim Dental's persistence in solving the challenge of maintaining consistent quality across its entire system."
For many years, the company's leadership has prioritized a deep-seated management and investment strategy. Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, they focused on standardizing all 32 clinics nationwide.
Specifically, the system is equipped with an extensive ecosystem of diagnostic imaging devices: 30 CT cone beam machines, over 100 3D scanners, and 300 dental chairs. The integration of X-Guide robotic navigation and microscopes into treatments has transitioned the unit from a traditional model to digital dentistry. This ensures every procedure is calculated with millimeter precision, reducing invasiveness, alleviating pain, and minimizing patient risks.
Additionally, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and electronic medical records have been implemented as an information lifeline, tightly linking data from doctors and nurses to the production lab. This aims to address record inaccuracies and shorten waiting times.
A key factor contributing to Kim Dental's high scores in assessments and rankings is its specialized operational model. The 'one doctor does all' approach has been replaced by the collaboration of distinct departments, including orthodontics, cosmetic porcelain veneers, and implant placement.
"Specialization enables doctors to focus on their strengths", explained the representative. In the field of braces, treatment protocols are personalized and pre-simulated using 3D software.
For cosmetic porcelain veneers, CAD/CAM technology allows for rapid and precise restoration fabrication. The representative emphasized, "When faced with complex cases, the system immediately activates interdisciplinary consultations, ensuring patients experience the most optimal and comprehensive solutions."

While equipment is the visible aspect, sterilization processes and material control are the 'hidden mass of the iceberg', determining the success of each treatment. For many years, Kim Dental has opted for self-production with a large-scale lab factory. "This approach is challenging but sustainable", the representative stated.
Each porcelain tooth here comes with clear documentation, fabricated from officially imported porcelain blanks (Germany, US, Austria), and undergoes rigorous quality control before being placed in the patient's mouth.
Concurrently, a one-way sterilization process utilizing Class B standard autoclaves functions as a robust 'defense line', preventing the risk of cross-infection.
Beyond its presence in domestic rankings, the unit also serves as a global partner of Harvard University, receiving investment capital from Temasek (the Singapore government's fund).
In 2024, the enterprise received the 'Vietnam Medical Achievement - Smart Healthcare' award from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, recognizing its continuous innovation for community health.

"We believe that customer trust stems not from promises, but from a persistent commitment to quality and ensuring no adverse health effects", a Kim Dental representative added. Their goal for the coming years is to maintain their leading position in the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health's quality assessments, achieving success in every smile enhancement case.
