The groundbreaking ceremony for the Japan - Hai Phong Industrial Park Phase 2 (NHIZ II) took place on 19/12 in Hai Phong. This significant industrial project, spanning 197,16 ha with an investment of 170 million USD (equivalent to 4,400 billion VND), is envisioned as one of Vietnam's first eco-industrial parks. Approved by the government, NHIZ II aims to foster modern, green, smart, and sustainable development, integrating circular economy principles and energy transition. It is strategically positioned to attract high-tech, electronics, medical equipment, and supporting industries, leveraging its location on a key transportation artery in the Northern key economic region. The project is also a key initiative to celebrate the 16th National Party Congress for the 2026-2030 term.

PC1 Group is the investor for NHIZ II, an expansion building on the success of the Japan - Hai Phong Industrial Park (NHIZ I). NHIZ I, a foreign-invested industrial park in Vietnam, was planned, built, and operated according to Japanese standards. It has attracted over 50 high-tech businesses from Japan and other countries, with a total investment of nearly 2 billion USD.

Speaking at the event, Trinh Van Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PC1 Group, stated that the company, along with its member companies NHIZ Company and HPJC in Hai Phong, affirms its role as an investor and developer of eco-industrial park infrastructure. He shared, "NHIZ II and other new industrial parks will be developed as green, ecological, circular, and smart industrial parks, meeting Vietnamese standards. The project also aligns with international trends, Vietnam's new-generation foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction strategy, and Hai Phong's development orientation."
With a focus on sustainable development, NHIZ II is being built as an eco-industrial park, aiming for high quality standards. This industrial park seeks to attract domestic and international investors, creating a modern industrial production space that contributes to Hai Phong's green industrial-logistics development.
