LPBank Securities partners with eCloudvalley for digital transformation

The partnership between LPBank Securities (LPBS) and eCloudvalley aims to build a centralized data governance ecosystem and deploy a generative AI chatbot, supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

To become a leading digital investment bank, LPBS is building a centralized data ecosystem on AWS cloud infrastructure through a partnership with eCloudvalley, an AWS Premier Tier Services partner.

Cloudvalley Vietnam states that this solution unifies various data sources, including securities trading systems, real-time market data, and third-party sources. It ensures high data quality, real-time analytics, and compliance with international security standards.

The services utilized include: Amazon S3 for data lake storage; AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) for data migration; AWS Glue and Lambda for serverless data processing; Amazon Redshift and Amazon Athena for analysis; and Amazon QuickSight for data visualization.

These elements form the core foundation for LPBS to implement advanced technology applications such as business intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI. These tools are transforming how modern financial institutions operate and serve their customers. The centralized data platform enables LPBS to transition from a traditional model, where data is fragmented and processed manually, to a data-driven and AI-powered enterprise model. LPBS states that this lays the groundwork for delivering smart, fast, and customer-centric financial services.

This infrastructure allows for instant generation of management reports, portfolio analysis, and risk alerts, enabling LPBS leadership and staff to make more accurate decisions. This also paves the way for personalized customer experiences in the near future. This strategic technology project positions LPBS to lead the digital transformation wave in Vietnam's finance and securities industry.

Doan Trung Kien, Chief Information Officer of LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company, stated, "Our strong investment in data and AI demonstrates LPBS's commitment to delivering modern, fast, and customer-centric financial services. We believe technology is the driving force behind superior customer experiences and enhanced operational efficiency."

Complementing the centralized data system, LPBS has launched a generative AI chatbot named Athena, built on Amazon Bedrock (AWS), to provide a smart customer support solution.

eCloudvalley successfully deployed the generative AI chatbot, which can understand conversation context, respond naturally in Vietnamese, and provide 24/7 automated support with a response time reduced by up to 70% compared to traditional channels. According to the company, this chatbot efficiently handles up to 80% of common support requests without staff intervention, ranging from answering basic questions about the securities market to retrieving information on LPBS products and services.

"As a result, customers receive instant support anytime, anywhere, which increases satisfaction and loyalty," a Cloudvalley Vietnam representative said. "Meanwhile, LPBS staff can focus on specialized tasks and deliver higher value, such as personalized investment advice or complex risk analysis, ultimately helping to reduce operational costs."

Through its strategic partnership with eCloudvalley, LPBS aims to redefine the financial and securities experience in Vietnam. This is part of a long-term commitment to providing intelligent, personalized, and sustainable financial services to users. Additionally, this project is expected to drive the development of Vietnam's capital market, aligning with the national digitalization strategy.

Le Nguyen Dung, Chief Executive Officer of Cloudvalley Vietnam, commented, "LPBS exemplifies how Vietnamese enterprises can leverage generative AI technology and AWS cloud services to enhance operational efficiency and innovate services."

The centralized data platform and generative AI chatbot are expected to strengthen LPBS's position as a leading growth securities firm in the market, laying the foundation to become a top digital investment bank in Vietnam.
