Trinh Van Quyet shared this information on his personal page on the evening of 9/2. This marks the first time the former chairman of FLC and founder of Bamboo Airways has spoken publicly since his return to the business arena. Mr. Quyet's last social media post was at the end of 3/2022.
He stated that nearly 3 million Bamboo Airways members would receive a one-year extension on their memberships. This applies to all card tiers. The system will automatically renew the cards, requiring no action from customers. The former FLC chairman also expressed "gratitude and appreciation for the affection customers have shown, are showing, and continue to show Bamboo Airways over the years".

The airline's membership program includes 4 card tiers. The highest, First, offers benefits such as priority check-in, use of priority lanes, access to business lounges with one accompanying guest, and an additional 20 kg of checked baggage.
Previously, at the end of 10/2025, Bamboo Airways had restored card tiers for all members until 31/10/2026. This move occurred immediately after FLC Group regained operational and management control of Bamboo Airways.
After nearly 4 years, Trinh Van Quyet reappeared at the end of 1/2026 during a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Youngsam.
At its peak, Bamboo Airways operated 30 aircraft, including a fleet of wide-body, intercontinental planes. FLC aims to restore the fleet to 30 aircraft. In the medium term, Bamboo Airways plans to add 8-10 aircraft annually to accelerate network development until 2030. To achieve this, the company has engaged with experienced domestic and international partners in aircraft leasing-purchasing and finance to explore cooperation solutions and investment capital support for the airline.
FLC Group identifies real estate as its core business segment. The company states it owns 50 projects under development and research in various provinces and cities, with key focuses in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, and Gia Lai. In 2025, FLC anticipates an after-tax profit of approximately 635 billion VND from its real estate segment.
Recently, FLC has continuously reorganized its senior personnel. On 6/2, they appointed Trinh Van Nam (35) as General Director. One week prior, FLC had also appointed Pham Manh Thang, former Deputy General Director of Vietcombank and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prosperity and Development Bank (PGBank), as Deputy General Director. The group described this decision as a strategic human resources move, enhancing management and operational capabilities amid a push for restructuring and simultaneous project implementation.
