MSB reduces loan interest rates by at least one percent for businesses

MSB launches a 3,000 billion VND credit program, cutting loan interest rates by at least one percent for SME businesses and business households in priority sectors.

Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) launched this program on 12/8. It targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and business households operating in priority sectors and those identified as economic growth drivers.

Under the program, eligible customers can borrow at preferential interest rates starting from 8,5% per year, a reduction of at least one percent compared to normal rates. This aims to help businesses and business households reduce capital costs and acquire resources for expanding production and operations.

An MSB representative stated that the program aligns with the Government and State Bank of Vietnam's directives to boost credit flow into production, business, priority sectors, and economic growth drivers.

In addition to offering preferential interest rate policies, MSB continues to enhance the efficiency of its credit process and develop financial solutions tailored to each customer group.

The bank is digitizing its processes, shortening the time to access capital and streamlining application processing. Customers can apply for loans online with MSB, complete procedures, and track their application status on the digital platform. According to the bank, combining preferential interest rates with digitized credit processes helps businesses and business households access capital conveniently and meet their actual needs more effectively.

With a customer-centric approach, MSB will continue to implement programs supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and business households, thereby fostering sustainable growth.
