Currently, Omoda & Jaecoo is recruiting for hundreds of positions, including mechanical, electrical-electronics, and oto engineers, as well as workers and operation specialists in Hung Yen province and surrounding areas. The company stated that some of these recruits will be selected for training at Chery group factories in China. Following this phase, they will operate the production and assembly lines in Vietnam.
"We are not just training skills; we are instilling a green manufacturing mindset, a sense of responsibility, and global standards from the outset. This generation of engineers will embody Vietnamese identity while possessing the capabilities to operate a modern factory according to world standards," said Simon Liu, General Director of Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam.

Upon completing the steel frame at the main assembly workshop in January, the Omoda & Jaecoo factory will transition to infrastructure completion, equipment installation, and trial operations. The project spans over 380,000 square meters, with an initial phase capacity projected to reach 120,000 vehicles annually, producing and assembling gasoline, hybrid, and pure electric vehicle models on the same system.
Omoda & Jaecoo aims to develop the factory according to ESG standards, following a "Green Factory, Clean Ecosystem" model. This involves implementing solutions such as: rooftop solar power systems, rainwater harvesting, circular wastewater treatment, using recycled materials, and maximizing natural light. Experts suggest that simultaneously developing infrastructure and human resources will enable Omoda & Jaecoo to shorten operational timelines once the factory is complete, promising a stable foundation from its first year.
