The "Top 10 Reputable Non-Life Insurance Companies in Vietnam" ranking is compiled based on three main criteria: financial capacity, reflected in the most recent annual financial reports; media reputation, evaluated through the Media Coding method, which analyzes articles about businesses across influential media channels; and surveys of research subjects and stakeholders, which were carried out until 5/2026.

OPES, established in 2018, is the youngest entity on this year's list. Regarding financial capacity, the company recently received approval from the Ministry of Finance to increase its charter capital from 1,900 billion VND to 2,451 billion VND. Since mid-2022, when it joined the VPBank ecosystem, the company's charter capital has more than quadrupled, providing room for OPES to expand operations and achieve long-term business objectives.
OPES's business results also show sustained growth. In 2025, profit reached 638 billion VND, a 38% increase from the previous year. For the first six months of 2026, pre-tax profit was 613 billion VND, nearly three times higher than the same period last year.
Gross premium revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 2,654 billion VND, marking a 23,5% increase compared to the same period last year and surpassing the industry's average growth rate. This boosted OPES's market share to 5,3%, positioning the company among the top 7 in the non-life insurance sector.
OPES's growth momentum is driven by its digital transformation strategy and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) across its entire insurance value chain. A notable highlight is the Operational Automation Project, featuring two claims portals: Fast Track and Eclaim. These platforms enable customers to submit claims entirely online, eliminating the need for physical documents. Specifically, Fast Track utilizes AI to automatically receive applications, analyze damage images, cross-reference data, and assess eligibility for compensation, thereby reducing processing time to approximately 30 minutes for eligible claims.
Meanwhile, Eclaim expands online claim capabilities for a range of products, including accident, health, home and property, and travel insurance, among others. Customers can submit requests, upload documents, and track processing progress anytime, anywhere. The system automatically receives, extracts, and analyzes applications in approximately 15 seconds, significantly shortening processing times and offering a more convenient experience.
In early July, the Fast Track solution was honored at the Insurance Asia Awards in the "Claims Initiative of the Year" category. This marks the third consecutive year OPES has been recognized at the awards.

Beyond claims processing, OPES also actively implements AI in its business operations and internal management. Solutions are deployed across various stages, including lookup support, vehicle damage valuation and assessment, image recognition, customer support, and risk assessment. These applications enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data utilization capabilities, and improve customer experience.
In the first half of 2026, OPES also received recognition in several domestic and regional awards and rankings, including the Insurance Asia Awards, ASEAN Awards, FAST 500, and Top 10 Most Popular Fintech on Social Media.
A company representative stated that these achievements acknowledge OPES's innovative business efforts to enhance customer experience and value, while also solidifying its market position and recognition.
