PepsiCo Foods Vietnam implements the pep+ strategy comprehensively, from plant operations to the value chain and community. Through programs supporting farmers in raw material regions, initiatives for waste collection and recycling, environmental education for students, and fostering a green living mindset internally, the company gradually creates a positive impact beyond production. Building on this foundation, the PepsiCo Ninh Binh Food Plant, inaugurated in 11/2025, received integrated investment in automation and technology according to international standards, contributing to a unified operating system. The Ninh Binh Plant, along with the PepsiCo Binh Duong Food Plant, serves as a typical reference point for the entire system.

Specifically at the PepsiCo Binh Duong Food Plant, sustainable production standards are integrated into daily operations through measurable, verifiable, and consistently maintained environmental solutions. In water resource management, the plant invested in a wastewater treatment system with advanced technology, meeting current wastewater standards.
Beyond treating wastewater to meet standards before discharge, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam also integrates solutions for recovering starch generated during production and reusing water for appropriate purposes within the production process. This reduces the demand for fresh water input and optimizes water resource utilization in a circular manner.
Regarding waste management, the PepsiCo Binh Duong Food Plant implements a comprehensive control system from the source, including on-site sorting and optimizing collection and treatment methods suitable for each waste type. As a result, the plant consistently maintains the percentage of waste sent to landfills below 1% (based on cumulative 2025 data calculated according to PepsiCo's global sustainability index).
Alongside water and waste, energy transition is a consistently implemented pillar. The plant installed a rooftop solar power system across its entire existing roof area, gradually increasing the proportion of renewable energy in its total energy consumption structure, demonstrating a long-term investment direction.
