He also emphasizes cultivating a strong corporate culture and developing the leadership team's capabilities. With a background in managing large-scale enterprises, developing consumer brands, overseeing multi-channel distribution, and expanding business models, Mr. Cong is expected to enhance PNJ's operational efficiency, manage risks, and expand growth in the lifestyle retail sector.

PNJ anticipates that consolidating the chief executive officer position will further strengthen its market standing, build internal capabilities, and propel the company into a new growth cycle. Addressing his new role, Mr. Cong expressed appreciation for the foundation laid by previous PNJ leaders and affirmed his commitment to fostering innovation. "In the coming period, we will continue to build on our core values, while promoting innovation, enhancing operational capabilities, and applying technology to drive PNJ's exceptional, more sustainable development and long-term competitiveness," Mr. Cong stated.
Born in 1970, Phan Quoc Cong brings over 30 years of experience in business management and operations. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and an electrical engineering degree.
Mr. Cong has held management positions at major corporations, including Electrolux Vietnam, SmithKline Beecham, and Nestle Vietnam. He founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of International Consumer Products (ICP), transforming it into a leading domestic chemical and cosmetic company. Since 2015, he has focused on investing in and developing technology-driven businesses, and has served on the boards of several companies, including PNJ, Mekong Capital, and The Gioi Di Dong. He also received the "EY - Entrepreneur of the Year" award and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
