Following the selection process, 32 outstanding contestants advanced to the final round, held on 29/11 in Ho Chi Minh City. Rodrigo Basilicati Cardin, CEO of Pierre Cardin and the late designer Pierre Cardin's nephew and successor, directly participated in the evaluation.
The top prize includes 90 million VND in cash and a three-month internship at La Maison Pierre Cardin headquarters in Paris, France. During this period, the winner will work directly with the international design team, gaining exposure to professional creative processes and developing their aesthetic vision in a high-fashion environment. Exceptional performance could lead to an offer to become an official associate of the brand.
According to a Pierre Cardin representative, bringing the competition to Vietnam is part of a strategy to expand operations in the Asian market, a region rapidly developing in the fashion industry with a growing pool of young designers.
The program has previously been held in countries such as France, Greece, South Korea, China, Brazil, Taiwan, and Israel. In Vietnam, the brand has maintained a long-standing and robust presence through An Phuoc Company, its exclusive partner in men's fashion manufacturing and retail for the past 28 years. This strategic partnership has helped Pierre Cardin build brand reputation and establish significant influence in the Vietnamese market.
