PVCFC powers 7,000 athletes at Ca Mau Marathon 2026

PVCFC, a Petrovietnam member, continues as the diamond sponsor for the Ca Mau Marathon 2026 - Petrovietnam Cup, held on 14-15/11, attracting over 7,000 athletes.

At the press conference for the 6th Ca Mau Marathon - Petrovietnam Cup on 11/9, Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC), as the diamond sponsor, reiterated its commitment to creating a large-scale, professional, and memorable event in the southernmost region.

“More than just a physical competition, the Ca Mau Marathon is a gathering point for the running community to discover the natural beauty, culture, and people of Ca Mau,” the representative stated.

This year, the event takes place on 14-15/11, featuring over 7,000 athletes competing in the 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km distances. A 2 km distance is also available for families and children aged 6-15. The start and finish lines are at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (Ca Mau Provincial Convention Center, Le Duan Street, An Xuyen Ward). Miss Y Nhi and Mister Tuan Ngoc serve as the race ambassadors.

A key feature of this year's race is the route, which connects areas rich in Ca Mau's identity. Courses pass through An Xuyen Ward, Ho Thi Ky Commune, and Khanh An Commune, allowing runners to traverse urban roads, cultural and historical sites, the Ca Mau gas-power-fertilizer industrial complex, and roads within the Khanh An industrial park.

“The blend of landscapes, local life, and structures tied to Ca Mau's development offers a unique experience for this year's race route,” the organizing committee stated.

PVCFC's sponsorship is integral to its strategy of promoting cultural, sports, tourism, and community activities. Over several seasons, the brand's presence has enhanced the scale and quality of the tournament, helping establish the Ca Mau Marathon as a premier sports event linked to the image, people, and unique characteristics of the southernmost region.

“We hope to contribute to making the Ca Mau Marathon a sporting event, connecting the community, and promoting local culture and tourism,” the company representative said.

Beyond the marathon, PVCFC extends its community engagement through various sports, cultural, and entertainment initiatives. This year, the company sponsors the National Volleyball Championship - Ca Mau Fertilizer Cup; supports the National women's volleyball team; the 44th National Table Tennis Championship; and participates in the "Homeland in My Heart" concert and the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026.

“With over 15 years of operation in Ca Mau, we continue to dedicate resources to sports, culture, social welfare, and the environment, thereby making practical contributions to the locality and community,” the company representative added.
