Quoc Huy Anh Corp and PaperOne support central Vietnam students after floods

Students received scholarships, textbooks, and school supplies to quickly stabilize their studies once schools reopen.

Quoc Huy Anh Chemical and Building Materials Joint Stock Company (Quoc Huy Anh Corp), in collaboration with PaperOne – an office paper brand from Indonesia, implemented a support program for students in central Vietnam following the natural disaster on 2-3/12.

To deliver gifts to the children, the support team navigated heavy rain, slippery roads, and many areas still in disarray after the floods in the communes of Dong Hoa, Tuy An, Tuy Hoa, Dong Xuan, Tay Hoa, and Phu Hoa. Despite these challenges, representatives from both parties personally visited 12 schools, distributing "continuing education" scholarships, notebooks, school supplies, and new backpacks. This aid aims to help students resume their studies as soon as schools reopen.

"For these children, a backpack or a set of textbooks is not merely a school supply; it is a symbol of continuity, an uninterrupted future despite their circumstances," Quoc Huy Anh Corp stated.

According to representatives from both entities, PaperOne's collaboration with Quoc Huy Anh Corp, focusing on education investment in a post-disaster context, demonstrates a systematic environmental, social, and governance (ESG) model. Social activities are integrated with sustainable development goals and long-term risk management. Post-disaster education support helps communities recover faster and stabilize, contributing to overall socio-economic health, a factor directly influencing the business environment in which these companies operate.

Quoc Huy Anh Corp and PaperOne are also expanding their survey scope to prepare for long-term projects. These include: providing scholarships, improving school facilities, and establishing sustainable school support models tailored to local conditions. This aligns with their long-term ESG strategy, where the companies not only react to disasters but also proactively build a strong foundation to enhance community resilience against future disruptions.

The brand develops its products with a sustainable approach, emphasizing responsible forest management and minimizing environmental impact.

Quoc Huy Anh Corp is a company operating in the paper and stationery distribution sector in Vietnam. The company is currently the domestic distributor for the PaperOne paper brand. In addition to its business activities, the company participates in numerous philanthropic programs focused on education and community support.
