Singapore Airlines increases daily flights between Hanoi and Singapore

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has increased its daily flights on the Hanoi - Singapore route from two to three, effective 1/6, to meet growing passenger demand.

Singapore Airlines officially announced the increased flight frequency at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) on 1/6. To commemorate this event, representatives from the airline, along with leaders from the Northern Airports Authority and Noi Bai International Airport, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The increased flight frequency by Singapore Airlines stems from strong business cooperation, growing tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two countries, effectively addressing the travel demand between Hanoi and Singapore.

Adrian Ee, General Manager for Singapore Airlines in Vietnam, stated at the event that Hanoi is establishing itself as a premier destination for travelers, driven by robust growth in both business and leisure travel segments.

"This increase in flight frequency not only demonstrates our commitment to supporting the economic and tourism development of Hanoi and the wider Vietnamese market," Adrian Ee added, "but also allows Singapore Airlines to offer passengers convenient services, flexible flight options, and enhanced connectivity to our global network via the Singapore hub."

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the check-in counters officially opened to serve passengers on the newly added flight. Many passengers eagerly took souvenir photos with a specially designed backdrop and photo frame, marking this special milestone.

Ms. Elaine, a passenger, shared that Singapore Airlines is always her preferred choice for business and leisure trips. She expressed satisfaction with the staff's attentiveness and the quality of the in-flight cuisine, especially the airline's consistent offering of two flexible meal options on the menu, allowing passengers to choose according to their taste.

To celebrate the launch of the third daily flight on the Hanoi – Singapore route, Singapore Airlines is offering a special promotion for itineraries departing from Hanoi to Singapore and other global network destinations, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Los Angeles.

The program applies to tickets booked from now until 21/6, for travel between 1/7/2026 and 31/1/2027, via the SingaporeAir website or mobile app.

Singapore Airlines currently operates three daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City and two from Da Nang to Singapore. The addition of a third flight from Hanoi will significantly enhance the airline's operational capacity and strengthen convenient connections via Singapore to global destinations.
