Sony garnered significant recognition in 2025, securing four awards for its Bravia 5 and Bravia Mini LED TV series at the "Highest Energy Performance Products of 2025" program. This event, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Vietnam Energy Efficiency and Conservation Association (VECEA), took place on 23/12. It employed a rigorous technical evaluation to identify products demonstrating high electricity usage efficiency, thereby promoting sustainable consumption. This marked the 5th iteration of the event, which attracted over 1,000 participating products.

According to the organizers, award-winning products must fulfill criteria for energy performance, power consumption, and stable operation under real-world usage conditions. As television screen sizes expand and integrate more advanced image processing features, managing power consumption becomes a critical consideration for both consumers and regulatory bodies.
Sony emphasizes its commitment to reducing environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and manufacturing to end-user operation. Its Bravia TV series incorporates an eco dashboard energy management interface, enabling users to monitor and adjust power consumption to align with their viewing habits. These initiatives are integral to Sony's long-term environmental strategy, "Road to Zero", launched in 2010, which aims to minimize environmental impact by 2050.

Alongside expert evaluations, Sony also maintained a prominent position at the Tinh Te Awards 2025, held on 19/12, securing a total of 14 awards across various product categories. These accolades were determined by votes from the technology user community, reflecting high levels of satisfaction during actual product use.
In the home entertainment segment, Sony was voted the favorite TV brand. Specific models like the Bravia 5 98 inch, Bravia 8 II 65 inch, and Bravia 2 II 55 inch were recognized as the most favorite TVs in the large, medium, and small screen segments, respectively. Additionally, Sony received the "favorite projector brand" award.

For photography enthusiasts, Sony earned titles such as "favorite camera brand" and "favorite podcast microphone brand". The Sony RX1R III was voted both "favorite camera" and "best compact camera", while the Sony FX2 received high praise in the "favorite video camera" category.
In the audio and gaming sectors, the company continued to receive user recognition with titles like "favorite headphone brand" and "favorite gaming headphone brand". The WH-1000XM6 model was awarded "favorite noise-canceling over-ear headphones". Furthermore, the "most comprehensive console" award was presented to the PlayStation 5 Pro.
Analysts suggest that Sony's simultaneous recognition for energy performance and user experience awards highlights a balanced approach that integrates technology, environmental responsibility, and practical use value. Rather than pursuing short-term specifications, the company focuses on building a comprehensive product ecosystem that addresses the diverse entertainment, creative, and digital consumption needs of the Vietnamese market.
These recognitions serve as a foundation for Sony to continue developing its entertainment device and consumer electronics segments, especially as users increasingly prioritize operational efficiency, long-term costs, and sustainability in their purchasing decisions.
