Techcombank's mark at the banking sector digital transformation day

Techcombank introduces its digital financial ecosystem with data and AI solutions supporting businesses and household businesses at the 2026 banking sector digital transformation event on 18/8.

This year's event, themed "Smart banking in the era of data and AI," took place at the I.C.E International Exhibition Center in Hanoi. The program gathered banks, financial institutions, and technology companies to present solutions related to data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

At its booth, Techcombank highlighted its digital financial ecosystem for small, micro-sized businesses, and household businesses. T-Shop, a digital transformation solution built on data and AI, digitizes business operations: from managing orders, inventory, and cash flow to issuing electronic invoices and tax declarations.

According to Techcombank, converting transactions into digital data enhances transparency in revenue management, supports business performance evaluation, and establishes a basis for household businesses to be considered for an advance limit of up to 500 million VND, as per State Bank regulations.

A bank representative stated that many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro SMEs struggle to access capital due to limited collateral, complex applications, and lengthy approval times. To address this, Techcombank developed the Data Brain data platform, capable of processing about 8 billion data points daily and analyzing up to 12,500 attributes per customer.

Techcombank also partnered to implement MISA Lending, a data-driven credit solution. It combines information from invoices, financial reports, and transaction data to assess businesses' capital needs and financial capacity in real-time. This solution allows customers to access credit limits of up to 48 billion VND, with an unsecured limit of up to 22 billion VND, and automated approval in about 5 minutes.

To date, MISA Lending has supported over 4,000 businesses, providing a total credit limit of approximately 22 trillion VND. This data-driven credit model reduces documentation, shortens approval times, and broadens capital access for businesses.

Alongside its SME focus, the bank also develops digital solutions for household businesses, aiming to digitize sales management, cash flow, invoicing, and tax declarations. Data generated during operations can help household businesses achieve transparent management and create a basis for accessing suitable financial services.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, deputy general director and head of retail and premier banking at Techcombank, noted that this year's event theme reflects a global trend where data and artificial intelligence reshape how financial institutions operate and serve customers.

"For Techcombank, data and AI are core capabilities that help us understand customers better, provide suitable solutions, and create convenient experiences for individuals, businesses, and household businesses," Tuan said.

He added that the value of data and AI lies in their ability to help customers access financial services more quickly, conveniently, and appropriately. This also forms the basis for Techcombank's AI-first strategy, integrating technology deeper into its business operations and customer service.

Recognizing data and AI as crucial foundations in its development strategy, Techcombank is enhancing its data exploitation capabilities and integrating AI into various operations, from product development and risk management to customer service. The bank also advances its AI-first strategy, expanding partnerships to develop smarter, personalized, and more accessible financial solutions.
