Tesla Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd. was recently established on 11/9, headquartered in TP HCM with a registered charter capital of 77,6 billion dong, equivalent to 3 million USD.
According to the National Business Registration Portal, the company's primary business activities are the wholesale of automobiles and motor vehicles, along with wholesale of automobile parts and accessories. Tesla Motors Vietnam has three legal representatives: David Jon Feinstein (born 1978) as Chairman, Isabel Ching Fan (born 1965) as General Director, and Nguyen Manh Hung (born 1983) based in TP HCM. Both Feinstein and Fan are American citizens and have held senior positions at Tesla in foreign markets.
Similar to many foreign enterprises entering Vietnam, Tesla Motors Vietnam's initial charter capital is not substantial. This capital serves as "legal capital" for the company to complete investment procedures and obtain operating licenses, rather than fully reflecting the parent company's financial scale or long-term commitment. Businesses typically supplement operational resources through internal loans, service contracts, or phased capital increases, depending on their business plans and market expansion.
Tesla has not yet announced its development plans for the Vietnamese market.
