This award recognizes Vietcombank Remittance's digital transformation strategy, which leverages digitalization to enhance its services and products. Accordingly, the company collaborated with FPT to develop a core remittance software system in 4/2025. This software system is specifically designed for remittance operations, integrating the entire workflow from partner and customer management to multi-channel payment processing, including: bank transfers, e-wallets, over-the-counter payments, and home delivery. The system enables near real-time transaction processing, automates many operational stages, and minimizes manual risks.

A company representative stated that Vietcombank Remittance also proactively developed an AML (anti-money laundering) system, enhancing risk control and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and customer data security standards. These adhere to international benchmarks such as Fincen of the US, Fintrac of Canada, Austrac of Australia, and AMLD6 of Europe.

Additionally, a mobile application integrated into the system supports payment teams and collaborators in remote areas, thereby expanding service coverage and bringing remittance flows closer to the people.

These strategies stem from the consistently high volume of remittances sent to Vietnam. In 2024, remittances reached approximately 16 billion USD, placing Vietnam back among the top 10 remittance-receiving countries globally. The Vietcombank system alone recorded over 4 billion USD, accounting for more than 25% of the total remittance volume. In 2025, this figure is projected to be similar. Facing growth pressures and increasing demands for speed, security, and compliance, the company's existing technology system required innovation to meet operational needs.
With more than 8 years of operation, Vietcombank Remittance provides fast, secure remittance services, investing in service quality and user experience with a 24/7 customer care system.
Beyond business, the company also focuses on community activities, dedicating resources to children's education and social welfare initiatives. This year, Vietcombank Remittance supported the construction of two charity homes in Vinh Long and provided facilities for students at Ma Pi Leng school in Tuyen Quang.

In the near future, the company will also collaborate with partners to implement a fee waiver program for remittances sent to areas affected by recent floods, especially in the central provinces, to help residents stabilize and rebuild their lives after the natural disaster.
As remittances continue to play a vital role in the economy, Vietcombank Remittance not only focuses on technology development but also aims to be a strong bridge between overseas Vietnamese and their homeland.
