VietinBank is offering a 60% discount on auspicious account numbers with four to eight characters. For 12-character numbers, the discount reaches 80% of the listed price. Account numbers categorized as "super beautiful, super rare", including those symbolizing prosperity, wealth, triple digits, progressive sequences, or repeating numbers, will receive a maximum discount of 70% compared to previous fees.

According to VietinBank, this marks the largest fee adjustment to date for its auspicious account number service. Due to limited availability, the program may conclude once all desirable number sequences are registered.

Customers can register online through VietinBank iPay by navigating to the "chon so tai khoan dep" (choose auspicious account number) section. The system automatically applies the corresponding discount based on the type of number selected. Alternatively, customers can register in person at any VietinBank branch or transaction office nationwide for assistance.

A bank representative stated that short, memorable, or feng shui-significant account numbers are increasingly popular. Beyond the convenience in transactions, many customers view auspicious account numbers as a way to express personal identity and attract good fortune in their work and business endeavors.
